Leyla is a Canadian born Iranian model and actress best known for her appearance in the 2005 WWE Raw Diva Search and for her role as one of NBC’s Deal or No Deal briefcase girls. She has also made several guest appearances on such shows as Showtime’s Sleeper Cell, G4’s Attack of the Show, NBC’s Las Vegas , HBO’s Entourage , HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm and several other network and cable programs. She is currently still one of the briefcase girls on NBC’s Deal or No Deal and is known as Lucky Leyla thanks to the generous amounts of money contestants have won by choosing her briefcase with the number 13 which is usually synonymous with bad luck. She has also appeared in music videos for 50 Cent and The Pharcyde and appeared in a Bud Light Commercial during the Superbowl in 2006. She can also be seen in various magazines including Maxim magazine’s Girls of Deal or No Deal Pictorial and the cover of the Beverly Hills Times magazine. She has also made the transition to acting by starrring in the acclaimed independent comedy hit “The Boys and Girls Guide to Getting Down” and El Mescarado. She can soon be seen in the upcoming primetime drama “Desire” on the new MyNetwork TV channel. She is also an accomplished fashion designer having gone to school at the Los Angeles Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and having several of her designs appear in major retail stores such as Mega Forever 21.
