Harris is a British singer, songwriter and record producer of Scotish descent. Calvin began to make music at the age of 15 but only reached minimal success when his songs “Da Bongos” and “Brighter Days” were included on a cd-ep by the Prima Facie label in 2002. Calvin started to gain more attention for his work thanks to his success on the social networking website Myspace and he would also follow up this success with recording and producing gigs for EMI and Sony BMG. In 2007, Harris released his first album entitled “I created Disco” through EMI which had hits such as “Vegas” and “Acceptable in the 80s”. His song “Acceptable in the 80s” would reach the top 10 charts and stay on them for nearly 15 weeks. Also, Calvin would embark on a tour of the U.K. that year that saw him touring with groups such as Faithless and Groove Armada. Calvin is also a strong remix musician and has remixed tracks for groups such as CSS and The Mitchell Brothers. He has also had the privilege of recently writing and producing for both Kylie Minogue and Sophie Ellis-Bexter. You can listen to more of Calvin in our radio jukebox.
