The month of October at BoobNewb means one thing and one thing only. HALLOWEEN! We could probably find some quote from some scary movie to pass off easily to finish this month’s quote but instead we’re giving it to a deserving individual/dead thing who deserves to make a television comeback. Of course, we’re talking about the corpse, the legend…The Cryptkeeper from HBO’s Tales from the Crypt. The Cryptkeeper and the show were both based on the EC Comics collection from the 1950s. HBO would go on to make a weekly horror anthology series on television with the Cryptkeeper introducing each horror story in the openings segment and then delivering a witty joke at the end of each episode to end the show. The series finished in 1997 but let’s hope they come up with another new crypt series soon so that we may see more of the Cryptkeeper in the foreseeable future. In the meantime, we leave you with the same quote that the Cryptkeeper would use to finish off every episode.
