Candice Hillebrand is a South African Singer-Songwriter signed with Musketeer Records. She started off on a South African children’s television show (KTV) at the age of 6 and in 2002 she released her debut single “Hello” and later her debut album “Chasing Your Tomorrows” in 2003. She describes her work as being “trance rock” in that it can’t be easily fitted into any type of category and she’s just fine with that notion. She has recently moved to the United States in the hopes of gaining more widespread international exposure for her singing career. She has also traveled to numerous countries for many special events including the International Poetry Summit in Washington D.C. as well as a roller blading tour of Africa. Some of her musical inspirations include Pink Floyd , Bob Dylan and Bob Marley and she credits her success to her parents who helped her to learn various styles of music thanks to her parents’ extensive record collection growing up.
