Melissa Molinaro is an American pop singer, actress, choreographer and model. She was born in Canada but moved with her family to the USA at 13 years old. At the age of 18, Melissa auditioned for the girl pop group “Goddess”, and became its lead singer. She received a recording deal with Interscope records but never achieved fame with the label. She auditioned for MTV’s ‘Making The Band 3’ and ‘Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search For the Next Doll’ but was eliminated from both shows just before the finale. She would continue to do movie, television and music gigs by appearing in music videos for JC Chasez and Celine Dion as well as television credits for shows such as ‘Rodney’ and ‘Grounded for Life and minor film roles in films such as ‘High Crimes’ and ‘The Hillz’. She has appeared in many commercials and done promotional modeling for Miss Fitness, Detroit Automotive Show, Sports By Brooks, Microsoft, Xbox, Skecher, Nappytabs, Nivea and Dickies Girls. In early 2011, Molinaro was featured as the lead performer in the smash hit Old Navy advertisement “Super C-U-T-E” that garnered over 1.7 million views on YouTube within the first week of release. The commercial became very controversial as Molinaro looks very similar to reality TV star Kim Khardashian and Kim sued and an out of court settlement was reached between both parties. She has released several independent music singles on Youtube that have reached over 1 million views. Some of her recent film credits include playing Nooki in the Syfy TV movie ‘Jersey Shore Shark Attack’ and Carla in ‘Honey 2’ as well as several guest appearances on hit television shows like ‘How I Met Your Mother’ and ‘The Game’.
