Key and Peele is an American sketch comedy television program and airs on Comedy Central. The show features Keagan-Micheal Key and Jordan Peele who are both former cast mates on the cancelled sketch comedy program ‘Mad TV’. The show hopes to push the boundaries of race much like ‘Chappelle’s Show’ did several years earlier and can rely on the fact that both comedians are biracial and might be able to get away with certain topics that other comedians (black or white) might choose to avoid in their act. In one of the show’s more popular sketches entitled ‘Obama Anger Translator’, Peele plays president Barack Obama who has hired the services of a translator named Luther to translate some of his political thoughts on important issues so that the average person on the street can understand what it is that the president is trying to tell them. Of course, this idea doesn’t quite work out very well since it seems that the president is laying the smack down on his political opponents with Luther taking the president’s thoughts and translating them to new extremes…

Woody Allen is an award winning screenwriter, director, actor,author, comedian and playwright. He began his career doing stand up comedy routines and portrayed the character of an intellectual, insecure, neurotic, yiddish man whom he would later use as the cornerstone character in many of his featured films. At the age of 19, he would write monologue jokes for both the Ed Sullivan Show and the Tonight Show. He also wrote several jokes and appeared on the popular television program Candid Camera. In addition, he wrote for several publications including the New Yorker and wrote several Broadway plays including ‘Play It Again Sam’ in 1969. Allen’s film career spans six decades. Some of his many known films include Annie Hall in 1976 and Midnight in Paris (2012) which both went on to win Academy Awards. His off screen life has been heavily criticized for his affair with his step daughter Soon-Yii who he would later go on to marry after his then wife (Mia Farrow) found out about the affair and divorced him. Even though Allen never legally adopted Soon-Yii, it has caused a rift with his stepson , his ex-wife and the media and has portrayed Allen in a negative light with many calling him a child molester. In the future, Allen hopes to create a film about the Jazz industry in New Orleans when he can get the financial backing to do so. Henry Van Dyke was an American poet, educator, author and clergyman. He was a professor of English literature at Princeton University from 1899-1923. He was appointed minister to the Netherlands and Luxembourg in 1913.He chaired the committee that wrote the first Presbyterian printed liturgy, The Book of Common Worship of 1906. He wrote several of his hymns and essays in two short stories entitled ‘Little Rivers’ in 1895 and Fisherman’s Luck in 1899. Among his popular writings are the three Christmas stories The Other Wise Man (1896) , The First Christmas Tree (1897) and The Spirit of Christmas. In one of these stories, Henry came up with the popular quote that is used quite extensively during the holiday season in which he tells people to look beyond the material conception of the gift and look into one’s heart to find out where the true heart of gift giving lies…

Ugly Americans is an animated television series that is aired on Comedy Central. The program’s plot revolves around Mark Lilly, a social worker who works for the Department of Integration in New York City. New York city has been flipped upside down when hell breaks out from the underground and all sorts of creatures are now allowed to integrate into society such as demons, robots, vampires, zombies and many more weird creature variations. Mark’s job as a social worker is to help out these new creatures integrate into New York city life while trying to cope with some of their own creature habits that they’re having trouble to give up. Mark has a zombie for a roommate who often likes to pick up chicks and a succubus demon for a girlfriend. The style of the show is said to be reminiscent of the EC comics from the 1950s.

In this quote, Mark must help a tree species have sex with each other for a large spectacle known as ‘Treegasm’. He is having doubts about it and wonders what the big deal is about two trees having sex with each other…

Troll 2 is a 1990 B-movie horror film. It’s considered one of the worst films ever made. The film was originally supposed to be called ‘Goblins’ but the American distributors didn’t think that it could stand alone by itself and decided to call it Troll 2 and market it as a sequel to the 1986 Empire Pictures film ‘Troll’. Troll 2 doesn’t even contain one single troll in the entire flick and has no connection or plot points with the original film whatsoever. The movie was shot by an Italian film director and his wife along with an Italian film crew who all spoke very little english. The film was shot in Utah with actors whom were auditioning for the first time and had very little acting experience prior to the making of this film. The director and film crew’s lack of English didn’t help matters and led to many arguments and misunderstandings between the director and the actors. The plot of the movie is about a bunch of goblins who eat people and turn them into plant food. Despite the film’s horrible reviews, it has developed a large cult fanbase who know all the famous quotes from the film asthe movie can be seen regularly at late night movie theaters. The strange success of the film also helped to create a 2010 documentary entitled ‘Best Worst Movie’ which was directed by Micheal Stephenson, the original child star in Troll 2. In this scene from the film, Arnold views the trolls eating someone and comes to the realization that they’re going to him next with the worst yelling/acting job in cinema history…
