Fern is an accomplished fitness model. She has competed in such competitions including Hawaiian Tropic (Hawaiian Tropic Georgia State Finalist in 2001) and several NPC fitness competitions. She is also a fitness spokesperson; having worked for such companies like Met-Rx, Worldwide, AST, Ecplise and GNC (Physical Mag). She is also a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Business management. She has appeared in such publications as H20 Magazine,Planet Muscle, Oxygen, and Pump Magazine just to name a few. She has also appeared in various commercials including among others a Golds Gym commercial in 1996, a Night Moves commercial in both 2001 and 2002 and a Cottage Kitchen commercial in 2000. She has also been a spokesmodel for both Royal Crown beverage and Budweiser from 1998-2001. Some of the magazines that she has modeled for include Oxygen magazine, Musclemag International, Planetmuscle magazine, American curves magazine, Womens Fitness & Health Australia and a Maxim magazine UK full page pictorial in April 2006. Some of her fitness competition accomplishments include finishing 1st at the Venice Beach Muscle Classic in 2004 and 2nd place at the NPC Natural Western USA Figure in 2004 as well. She has also appeared in a few television projects including National Lampoon’s Poker Series Pay-Per-View in Jamaica, an appearance in country singer Kenny Chesney’s music video “summertime” and doing interviews as an intern reporter for ABC 15 Phoenix and FOX 10. She has a bachelor degree in Psychology from the University of North Florida and has attended broadcasting classes at Arizona State University. Her goals include competing in more fitness competitions and to one day become an actress or television presenter/hostess. She currently resides in San Antonio,Texas. Her first competition was at the NPC 2005 John Sherman Classic. In 2006, she placed first at the NPC 2006 Ronnie Coleman Classic and went on to compete in the NPC Jr. Nationals in Chicago. In 2007, she joined the WNSO (World Natural Sports Organization aka FAME) and successfully attained her Pro Card and won her first pro show at the FAME North American Championships. She is also a certified trainer through AFAA, ACE and Fitness Professionals International as well as a wellcoach certified fitness coach and lifestyle management nutrition manager. She has also appeared in a few fitness magazines including Oxygen magazine and is a contributing fitness columnist for publications in Vermont and Texas. Although her blonde hair may fool you, she is of Asian descent having spent time in various regions of the world including Japan and Hawaii when growing up as a child in an American army family that moved constantly ever few years. Her acting or entertainment resume includes such appearances on events such as National Lampoons College Cuties, Cinemax Hottest Web Girls and the Ladies of Lingerie PPV. She has appeared in such magazines as the June 2006 Planet Muscle, October 2006 GQ and the featured model for 2007’s candy and curves calender. She has also been a spokesperson for assault fighter gear and is the 2007 spokesperson for Miss Carribean Tan. Nicole began modeling and competing in 2005,and won her very first competition which was Fame’s Fitness Model Search Competition in Boston, Massachusetts. Two months later she would gain popularity once more by finishing third in the 2005 Fame World Championship in Toronto, Canada. In November, 2005, Nicole would appear in Oxygen Magazine’s Future of Fitness section and would later grace the cover of the magazine in 2007. She would also compete in the 2007 Model Universe Championships in Miami, Florida and is currently a spokesperson for Gaspari Nutrition products. In an unrelated interview, Nicole has stated that she enjoys Italian food once a week and enjoys listening to Amy Winehouse and Robin Thicke on her ipod.
