Federica Ridolfi is an Italian television personality and occasional actress. Her father is actor Gianni Ridolfi, who appeared alongside screen legends Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni in various films. She is known as a popular sex symbol within Italy but hasn’t yet made much noise in North America. In 2000, Federica Ridolfi landed her first acting gig with a brief appearance in the Italian television miniseries La Casa delle beffe, costarring Anna Falchi and Pippo Franco.

In January 2003, she played Marina in the comedy La Palestra, a TV-movie starring Valeria Marini and Maurizio Mattioli. Also in 2003, she appeared on TV’s Ci vediamo in tribunale and Il Processo di Biscardi. She has been romantically linked with various football players in Italy’s Serie A and is known for appearing on programming involving football which is Italy’s national sport. In 2005, she joined the long-running Italian football program Quelli che… il calcio, a sports-oriented variety program that is broadcast live from Milan. The popular show mixes coverage of Italian Serie A soccer in real time with comedy and music. In 2007, she began to participate in another football oriented show that features sketch comedy and political humor. In 2005, she appeared in Max magazine (not to be confused with Maxim) and in 2007 made askmen.com’s list of top 99 women in 2007.

Laura Vandervoort is a Canadian actress best known for her role as Supergirl on the hit CW television program “Smallville”. She began her acting career with guest spots in the Canadian series “Goosebumps” and “Are You Afraid of the Dark?”. She would also guest start on several other Canadian productions including Mutant X, Sue Thomas FBI and Twice in a Lifetime among others. Before appearing on Smallville, she played the recurring character “Sadie Harrison” on the hit Canadian television program “Instant Star” on CTV. She has also made guest appearances on shows such as CSI and the Dresden Files and appeared in the 2007 film “The Lookout”. She also appeared in a pictorial in the final USA version of Stuff Magazine in October 2007. Laura is currently in her second season of playing Supergirl on Smallville in which her character develops amnesia and must be rescued by Clark Kent.

Flight of the Conchords is a television series from HBO about two struggling band mates from New Zealand who are trying to become famous rock stars in New York City. The show stars the real life comedy duo of Jermaine Clement and Bret Mckenzie who are portrayed on the show as taking their music seriously but in real life are often doing parodies of popular songs. Jermaine or Bret will break into song periodically throughout each episode. The songs that are portrayed are usually story driven and involve some type of parody of an event that has occurred during each episode.

Bret and Jemaine are often depicted as being clumsy and inexperienced with women. They will usually compete with each other over who is more of a lady’s man but in reality neither of them are very popular with women. This leads us to this month’s quote where Jermaine explains how many women he’s been with back in New Zealand.

Jemaine: Man, back in New Zealand I was getting it on with lots of chicks. Bret: Who? Jemaine: Well, ah, Sarah Fitzpatrick, Michelle Fitzpatrick, Claire Fitzpatrick… the list goes on. Bret: That was all of them. Jemaine: Well, triple figures. Bret: No that’s not triple figures. That’s three.

The dictionary defines an asshole as being someone who is stupid or irritating or ridiculous. We’d like to add to this definition by mentioning an asshole as someone who’d you just like to hit across the face when you see them in public. The entertainment industry has tried to find the right combinations in order to create characters that the audience would just love to hate. We’ve rounded up a list of characters we’ve came across in television ads, music, skits and much more in order for us to come up with strong examples of assholes just for you.

Andy Bernard from ‘The Office’.

Andy came on to the show as the office employee that you just love to hate. He thought too highly of himself, sucked up to the boss way too often and would try to become best buds with Jim by calling him big tuna more times than was needed. The entire office finally tried to get rid of him by realizing his anger management issues that resulted in him leaving the office temporarily in order to receive counseling. This form of assholery results from over ambition and the need to be the best when in fact the person is a loser who should be sitting in the corner cubicle all by themselves.

The Molson Canadian ‘Oblivious’ Guy.

For all of you Canadian people out there, The Molson Canadian Oblivious Guy is what his title says he is: Oblivious. In the commercial, the man in the suit starts to tell everybody how badly the beer sucks when in fact the entire town is trying to ship him off in a plane to a distant region with him being totally oblivious to what is going on around him. This bit of assholeness results from thinking that you’re the life of the party when in fact nobody wants to talk to you or be near you. The commercials themselves are pretty bad and we hope that Molson Canadian creates a new ad campaign soon. (more…)

She’s a native of Brazil and has appeared in numerous publications including a centerfold spot in Spanish Playboy.
